COURSE DESCRIPTION
In July 2018, Florida adopted revisions to the federal hazardous waste regulations known as, “The Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Final Rule.” The changes will be covered in this four hour hazardous waste compliance course designed for solid waste facility personnel. The purpose of the training is to teach individuals who work at landfills, construction and demolition sites, solid waste transfer stations, and materials recovery facilities how to identify and properly manage any hazardous waste they may encounter.

Jane Gregory, CHMM, CIT Jane Gregory has almost thirty years of experience in the environmental compliance field, working in both the public and private sectors. She is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, a Certified Instructional Trainer and a LEED Green Associate. Jane currently serves Orange County citizens as the Environmental Programs Administrator at Orange County Environmental Protection Division. Programs include Petroleum Storage Tanks, Petroleum Cleanup, Brownfields, Air Quality Management, Sustainability and Energy.
