This course is designed to provide an overview of some of the key safety and primary hazards of the solid waste industry. The course will focus on the hazards and risks to workers involved in collection, handling and disposal. Specific hazards are presented, the relevant risk control meausre will also be discussed. The measures are designed to provide safe work enviornment as well as meet the OSHA requirements for safety.
